THE NIKE REVOLUTIONAIR COMES TO LIFE IN A BIT,WAY TO GO SEAN WOTHERSPOON!
The Nike brand is one of our top favorites for a number of reasons and one of those very valid reasons is the way they always think up ways to spice the whole Nike experience up (yep, the Nike experience is totally a thing, lol.never felt it?don't make me begin to question your sneakerheadship fam (not a real word kids, it was just the best I could come up with, lol), and the air max day is one our absolute favorite things we love about Nike.
the event features select designers working hand in hand with professional Nike design teams to give some of their favorite air max sneakers a dope makeover which lets the rest of us sneakerheads see them through their creative eyes and any design with the most votes is made available for actual wear and tagged the 'revolutionair'(oh come on!smh, when will poor old me ever get to do something this awesome? can anyone refer a shrink please?)
on the 26th of March this year, out of the 12 designers featured in the contest, Mr. Sean Wotherspoon got picked as the designer with the most votes for his revamped version of the air max sneaker model that was featured in the 'vote forward' contest (yaaaay!way to go fam!). the co-founder of the awesome vintage store that retails from the most sought vintage get up to rare sneaker collectibles sean Wotherspoon has finally gotten a release timeline (no specifics yet) for his version of the air max which is fixed for November 2017.
wotherspoon's remake is a super hybrid of the Nike air max 97 and Nike air max 1 and is inspired by vintage Nike hats from the 1980's which is one of his favorite things (you are one stylish man sir!) and comes in a rich multicolored colorway.this November, the sneaker will be put out in a limited release at round two stores in both Los Angeles and Virginia and then a second more wide-scale release will be made available in March 2018.photos below and do tell us what you think of the vote forward exercise, is it something yall are excited about?the comments section is thirsty for all that info, lol, enjoy.
