As part of reebok's 25years of the original ventilator sneaker,the sneaker brand collaborated with detriot based sneaker boutique to put out a fun and colourful remake of the original retro runner tagged the 'boblo boat' ventilator. The boblo name pays homage to one of the favourite places to be of the co-owner of burn rubber as a child,an amusement park(pretty sweet huh),the Ontario situated boblo island amusement park and the boblo boat tag,paying homage to the 45minute boat ride you take to the park. The yellow,blue,grey,blue etc colour combination seen in the colorway could be likened to the fun colours found on the boblo boat.They released on the 16th of may 2015 at select reebok online stores.photos below. WTF?!that's the expression that best suits how I feel about the collaboration between artist tom Sachs and the Nike brand ,lool, what is up with this looney today you might add but trust me, this pair here is something else. Another pair of kicks that gave me the suave feels were the supreme x comme des Garcons x Nike force 1 collaboration, a perfect blend of the two extremes in the coloursphere that steps your class up a notch. Before the release of this pretty little thing, this collaboration between the supreme brand and the comme des Garcons brand already put out a shirt collection which came in the same silhouette as that of the kicks.Released on the 18th of may on Supreme's online store in us and Europe and then on the 20th of may at supreme Tokyo online and in store in one colorway, pristine white and a touch of black print , the kicks were sold out within a few hours as they should!Photos below. I hate to say that I am a sucker for the cute stuff and this collection really did it for me and if you are a cartoon lover then this collection might just awaken your inner child!The vans brand is on its third collaboration with this collection with blends and we are really impressed as usual. The pack comprises of the old school,sk8-hi and slip-on silhouttes and the theme for this collection is a graphic design of popular characters from the famous comic strip by Charles M.schultz and some of the featured characters are lucy,snoopy,woodstock,snoppy's alter ego joe cool and the one and only Charlie brown,lol,who make up the peanuts gang,boy!i cant overemphasize just how much I loved this collection,hehe .
